Pressure is mounting on Fly Jamaica to compensate passengers who were affected after its plane crash landed at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana four months ago.
Guyana's Competition and Consumer Affairs Commission (CCAC) says it will summon the airline to a meeting if it fails to provide compensation in a timely manner.
Public Relations Officer at the Commission, Allison Parker, says the organisation recently wrote to Fly Jamaica, following the receipt of several complaints from passengers.
She said Fly Jamaica responded, promising to begin payments this week.
