The Montego Bay police
are ruling out foul play in the death of a four-year-old boy Sunday.
Dead is Tajay Sappleton of McKenzie Street in the Tucker area of St. James.
Reports are that about 4:00 in the afternoon, Tajay's mother sent him to buy a snack at a corner store, however he did not return.
She reportedly went in search of him and saw his slippers in the vicinity of a pit which had water.
An alarm was raised and residents reportedly went into the pit where little Tajay's body was found.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
