The Portland police have recovered two Glock pistols, including one stolen from a pastor and Justice of the Peace in St. Mary last week Thursday.
Three men are in custody in relation to the seizures.
Superintendent Lloyd Darby, Commanding officer for the Portland Police Division, said targeted operations were conducted Sunday and Tuesday in Shrewsbury and Bybrook.
Twenty-two rounds of ammunition and the two guns were seized.
"Of note, the second seizure is the recovery of that Glock pistol which was stolen in Boscobel, St. Mary from the pastor/Justice of the Peace. Two men are in custody, including the named suspect, in that incident," Superintendent Darby disclosed.
The Portland division has recovered seven firearms since the start of the year, compared to four for the similar period in 2022.
