Haiti: National Union of Haitian Police Officers calls on CPT to prioritise security issues in country

The National Union of Haitian Police Officers is calling for the recently installed Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) to give priority to security issues in the French-speaking CARICOM country.

In a statement posted on its X account, formally Twitter, the police union said it hopes that the CPT will give priority to security issues.

It is also calling for providing the Haitian National Police with adequate means to combat armed gangs.
