Harris and Trump campaigning in battleground Pennsylvania

US Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are holding duelling events in the pivotal battleground state of Pennsylvania on Monday as they sprint to make their final pitches to voters in an exceedingly tight race just weeks until Election Day.

Ms. Harris will deliver remarks in Erie, while Mr. Trump hosts a town hall in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

The latest CNN Poll of Polls average of national polling finds no clear leader in the presidential race, with an average of 50 per cent of likely voters supporting Miss Harris and 47 per cent backing Mr. Trump.

VP Harris on Monday unveiled a new opportunity agenda targeting Black men as she seeks to strengthen her coalition and court this key demographic.

Mr. Trump on Sunday announced a new plan to hire more Border Patrol agents and increase pay as he makes immigration and the border a central part of his closing message.
