A US federal jury has found Hunter Biden guilty on all three federal felony gun charges he faced, concluding that he violated laws meant to prevent drug addicts from owning firearms.
Hunter, the second son of President Joe Biden, could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to US$750,000 arising from his conviction but experts believe he receive far less than the maximum as a first-time offender.
Sentencing hearing is expected to be held 120 days following the verdict, which would would put it in mid-October.
