Integrity Commission sends three investigation reports, rulings to Parliament

The Integrity Commission on Tuesday sent three reports of investigation along with associated indicative rulings from the Acting Director of Corruption Prosecution to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Juliet Holness, and President of the Senate, Tom Tavares-Finson.

A copy of the reports and indicative rulings has also been sent to the Clerk of the Houses of Parliament, Colleen Lowe.

The Commission says it anticipates that its investigation reports, which were submitted pursuant to and in conformance with Section 54 of the Integrity Commission Act, together with the associated indicative rulings, will be tabled in both Houses of Parliament as soon as possible.

Section 54.4 of the Integrity Commission Act provides that, where the report from the Director of Investigation to the Commission has a recommendation under subsection 3, the Commission shall submit it to Parliament for tabling.

The Commission says the documents were formally received and signed for at Gordon House at 11.04 a.m.
