JLP promises release of manifesto soon

Kamina Johnson Smith, Chairman, JLP Manifesto & Achievements Committee

The Jamaica Labour Party says its manifesto will be released in short order.

That promise follows Tuesday's release of the PNP manifesto.

Kamina Johnson Smith, Chairman of the Jamaica Labour Party's Manifesto and Achievements Committee,  told Radio Jamaica News that the manifesto will be released in time for it to be properly assessed ahead of the September 3 parliamentary general election.

She was critical of the plans being put forward by the Opposition PNP and countered that the governing Jamaica Labour Party has been focused on driving economic growth and bettering lives.
