Sean 'Diddy' Combs
The jury has reached a partial verdict during the second day of deliberations in the Sean 'Diddy' Combs criminal trial.
They reached a verdict on four of the five counts Diddy faces, but aren't able to agree on the verdict in relation to the racketeering conspiracy charge as both sides have opinions that are unmovable.
But the judge has asked the jury to continue deliberating on the final charge.
The 55-year-old is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking of Cassie Ventura, transportation for prostitution of Ventura and others, sex trafficking of 'Jane' and transportation for prostitution of 'Jane' and others.
Prior to reaching the partial verdict, the jury asked to review critical testimony from one of the prosecution's most important witnesses, the hip-hop mogul's former longtime girlfriend Cassie.
Jurors requested the testimony about 75 minutes into their second day of weighing the charges that Combs used his name, wealth and fame, to force two girlfriends into drug-fuelled sex marathons with male sex workers known as "freak-offs" or "hotel nights".
The panel of eight men and four women asked for Cassie's account of Combs' beating, kicking and dragging her at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016, an assault captured on now infamous security footage.
They also asked to see testimony about an incident in which she said Combs accused her of taking drugs from him and kicked her off of their yacht at the Cannes Film Festival in France in 2013. On their way back to the US, she said she was threatened that he would release explicit videos of her having sex.
Combs denies all charges, but if found guilty of racketeering conspiracy, he could face up to life in prison.
The 12-member jury has heard from 34 witnesses over nearly two months including ex-girlfriends, former employees, male escorts and federal agents.
