The Court Administration Division (CAD) says jury trials at the St. Catherine Circuit Court will be suspended on Monday due to COVID-19.
It says the decision was made amid the surge in cases of the virus and the limited space in the courtroom for physical distancing.
Persons who were summoned for jury duty are no longer required to attend.
The CAD says they have been discharged without any risk of penalty.
