The prosecution's main witness, the widow of accountant Keith Clarke, who has been recalling details of her husband's killing, was on Monday accused of "beating around the bush".
Lance Corporals Greg Tingling, Odel Buckley, and private Arnold Henry, are on trial for the 2010 murder.
During the proceedings, Dr Claudette Clarke seemed agitated by questions about the day her husband was killed.
She reminded defence attorneys that the incident took place 14 years ago and that she is more than 65 years old and is therefore not a young person.
Dr Clarke was responding to Mr Buckley's attorney, Peter Champagnie.
She was shown several documents she had previously signed after refuting aspects of the statements she gave prior to the trial, including an affidavit.
Mr Champagnie tried to jog Dr Clarke's memory regarding how many soldiers she initially said jumped on the bed in the master bedroom before shooting her husband.
The window explained that the incident happened so fast she did not count the numbers, adding that it was stressful time in her life.
At that point Mr Champagnie suggested to Dr Clarke that every time he asked a simple question, she tried to avoid it by beating around the bush.
In response, Dr Clarke told Mr Champgnie that, while he could make that submission, it was not a fact, stressing that she made the report a long time ago.
Mr Champagnie, while noting that he understood, asked Dr Clarke if she wanted to view the statement she gave to INDECOM [Independent Commission of Investigations].
After Mr Champagnie cited an excerpt from the statement, Dr Clarke agreed.
