Mayor of Kingston Andrew Swaby says the Municipal Corporation is taking steps to stem violence against homeless people.
The major, speaking Wednesday at the KSAMC' annual homeless feeding programme at St. William Grant Park in downtown, Kingston, said the Corporation is still concerned about attacks on homeless people, although he conceded that its not as prevalent as in recent years.
More than 300 homeless people were at Wednesday's event.
