The two men who were implicated in the murder of an Anglican priest in Clarendon on September 25 last year, were on Thursday sentenced to life imprisonment in the parish court.
Lloyd Thompson, 23, and Tafari Wilson, 20, pleaded guilty on April 12 to the murder of Larius Lewis.
Thompson is to serve a minimum 21 years before being eligible for parole, while Wilson will be eligible for parole after serving 19 years.
The body of the 38-year-old priest, who was assigned to the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Chapelton, was found at his home two days after being reported missing.
The men confessed that they met Mr. Lewis via the internet and were invited to his house.
When they arrived at the house, there was a disagreement and they used a table to hit Mr. Lewis on the head.
His hands and feet were bound and a plastic bag placed over his head.
The men stole several items from the house as well as Mr. Lewis's car, which was found scrapped in Kingston the day after the incident.
