Three days after one of three tanks which provides water to the Longville Park community in Clarendon collapsed; residents are now appealing to the National Water Commission (NWC) to truck water to the area.
Last Thursday, residents got a scare after the tank caved in resulting in gallons of water flooding several homes and causing damage to property.
Residents told RJR News the two remaining tanks have been empty for some time and now the entire community is without water.
They say they have contacted the NWC's May Pen offices and reported the collapse of the storage tank.
However, to date no effort has been made to truck water to the community.
The residents have also pointed out that the quality of water in the collapsed tank was not suitable for consumption and so they had to transport or buy water for drinking purposes.
