Urban Knights retain NBL crown

The Urban Knights are champions of the National Basketball League (NBL) once again after beating the Upper Room Eagles 2-0 in their best of three final series on Tuesday night at the National Stadium Courts.

The Knights wrapped up the title with a 67-56 victory in game two.

Nicholai Brown and Ramone Spence both had double doubles on the night with 24 points each, while brown had 14 rebounds with Spence pulling down 10.

Lebron Lewinson was the top scorer for the Eagles with 11 points. Meanwhile, St George's Slayers defeated the Runnin Rebels 63-45 to take third.
