A 51-year-old man died in a fire at his house in Claremont, St. Ann on Tuesday morning.
He is Norman Haye, a truck driver of Beechamville, Claremont.
It's reported that about 8 a.m., residents observed the three bedroom dwelling engulfed in flames and called the police.
Two units from the St. Ann's Bay and Ocho Rios fire stations responded.
Mr. Haye's remains were found on the verandah near a locked grille.
It's suspected that the fire started at the back of the house.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
