Two men were shot, one fatally in the community of Eltham in Ocho Rios, St. Ann on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Conrad Johnson of Eltham. The other man has been admitted to hospital.
It is reported that about 8 o'clock, the men were walking in the vicinity of the cemetery in Eltham, when a white Toyota Probox motor car drove up.
The occupants alighted and opened fire.
Mr. Johnson was hit multiple times while the other man was injured in his shoulder.
They were taken to hospital where Mr. Johnson was pronounced dead.
