Man wanted for 2009 murder

The Kingston Central Police are searching for a man who is wanted for the 2009 murder of Amada Jawara.

Wanted is Roshane, Robinson, 20.

Mr. Robinson has full eyes and is of dark complexion, slim build and about 5 feet 8 inches tall. His last known address is Prince Albert Street in Allman Town, Kingston, but he is said to frequent the areas of Portmore, St. Catherine; Penn Street in Admiral Town, Kingston; as well as areas in Manchester and St. Elizabeth.

The police report that on Thursday, October 15, 2009, 18-year-old Jawara died at hospital while being treated for stab wounds he received on Hitchen Street in Allman Town, Kingston.

Mr. Robinson, who reportedly escaped the area, has since been sought by the police in connection with the incident.

Mr. Jawara was a resident of Corinne Crescent in Edgewater, Portmore, St. Catherine.

The Kingston Central Police are appealing to anyone who may know the whereabouts of Roshane Robinson to contact them at 922-5076, 967-3066, Crime Stop at 311, Kingfish at 811, the police emergency 119 number or the nearest police station.
