A man wanted in the United States for several serious offences was apprehended during a joint operation involving members of the St. Mary Police and the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team (J-FAT) on Friday morning.
He is 25-year-old Patrick Dave Anderson of Alleppo, St. Mary.
The police say he is wanted in Texas for murder, attempted capital murder and aggravated assault with a weapon.
A targeted operation was carried out between 3:30 and 5:40 a.m., during which two houses located in the same yard were simultaneously breached and searched.
Anderson surrendered to the police without incident.
He was taken into custody and transported to Kingston by members of J-FAT for further processing.
