Meeting called to end Texaco gas station operators dispute

A meeting has been called today in a bid to end the shutdown by Texaco gas station operators.    Members of  the Jamaica Gasoline Retailers Association, JGRA, will attend the meeting which has been organised by GB Energy- the operator of  the Texaco brand in Jamaica. 

GB Energy is embroiled in a dispute with three of  its dealers who have been issued with termination notices.

Derrick Thompson, JGRA President, has confiirmed, in the meantime, that pending the outcome of  the meeting, the shutdown will continue.
