Men accused of burning police station to face courts

The four men accused of setting fire to the Hannah Town Police Station during the May 2010 Tivoli Gardens incursion, are to go on trial on Tuesday before the Home Circuit Court.

A seven-member mixed jury was empanelled Monday.

Those charged with arson are Craig Dawson, Calvin Bernard, Anthony Lawes and Dwayne Robinson.

The Hannah Town Station was destroyed by fire, when armed thugs, aligned to Tivoli Gardens strongman Christopher "Dudus" Coke, attacked the station and set it ablaze.

The men are also before the Gun Court on charges of illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent.
