Two men from the central parish of St Catherine, who have been implicated in the death of a Trinidadian man and his female companion, were remanded when they appeared in court on Friday.
They are Andre Knight, 25, who’s charged with conspiracy to murder and murder, and Fabian Davis, 29, who’s charged with two counts of murder.
The court was told that in October of this year, the Trinidadian, Keron Fraser, 30 and his companion Tanashae Bennett, 19, were reported missing.
Days later, the men were stopped by police as they travelled in a car that had been rented by Fraser.
The police reportedly arrested the men after confirming that the car was the one rented by Fraser and after finding bloodstains in the vehicle.
During their court appearance, Knight and Davis were remanded. They are scheduled to return to court on February 18.
