Montego Bay's Old Fort Craft Market was extensively damaged by fire on Sunday night.
Losses have been estimated at $12 million, with seven shops destroyed and five badly damaged.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The St James Fire Department reported that the call was received shortly before 9 o'clock and two units responded.
