Morant Bay tax office closed following break-in

The Morant Bay tax office in St. Thomas has been closed following a break-in on Monday night.
 
The police and Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) officials were at the scene om Tuesday.
 
The break-in was discovered when staff members entered the building Tuesday morning.
 
It is believed that thieves gained access to the building through the roof.
 
Meris Haughton, Chief Corporate Communications Officer at Tax Administration Jamaica, said members of the public should use the Port Morant tax office.
