Navardo Hodges beheaded

Following the discovery of his head in Spanish Town, St. Catherine on Wednesday morning, the police have now found the torso of alleged gangster Navardo Hodges.

Police investigators made the gruesome find on Wednesday morning along Port Henderson Road in the vicinity of De La Vega City.

The police theorise that he was killed in the area and his body dragged across the road and the head taken to the Sagicor Commercial Centre.

Our news centre was informed that the police received a report about 3 o’clock that a man’s head was found at the Commercial Centre.

It was later discovered to be that of Hodges.

It had a gunshot wound to the forehead.

Investigators believe Hodges was beheaded in revenge for the fatal shooting of the sister of a member of the Clansman Gang.

The woman was killed while travelling in a taxi along White Church Street in Spanish Town earlier this month.

Hodges was also wanted for the recent shootout involving gunmen and the police near the St. Jago High School.

He was also implicated in the shooting of a man on the Spanish Town Bypass as well as the killing of a woman said to have been his girlfriend.

The police had placed a $500,000 reward for his capture after he eluded several dragnets.
