A team from the National Works Agency (NWA) is now in St. Elizabeth doing last minute drain cleaning.
NWA Communication Manager, Stephen Shaw, gave us an overview of the Agency's operations at this time.
"Well we haven't gotten any reports of blocked roads as yet but the teams around the island are on standby and when we are called upon we intend to respond as soon as we can," said Mr. Shaw.
"Right now a team is in the southern section of St. Elizabeth in the Treasure Beach area doing some work in terms of the drains. We're on standby and are ready to respond when called upon," he said.
