The National Works Agency (NWA) is now working to clear road blockages in the eastern parish of Portland as major sections of hillsides are now slipping onto roadways.
This has occurred as a result of bush fires destroying vegetation which would have held the soil together.
A section of the Plum Valley road was blocked, as huge boulders and other debris fell from the hill side, due to a bush fire in the area.
