OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin
The Organization of American States (OAS) says CARICOM will have a critical role to play in the ongoing efforts to restore stability and security in Haiti.
Addressing the OAS Permanent Council on Wednesday, Secretary General Albert Ramdin said there is need for more effective coordination in a transparent manner, providing all the necessary information available to all member states, allowing them to pinpoint what and where they can do more.
The roadmap is a hemispheric proposal to support Haiti that seeks to link immediate stabilisation with long-term structural reforms.
