A man who is suspected to have been involved in Tuesday's robbery at a JN Bank Moneyshop in Whitehouse, Westmoreland is in police custody.
He was held during an operation in Westmoreland Wednesday.
A 9 millimitre pistol was also seized.
Shortly before noon on Tuesday, armed men stole $3.2 million from the establishment.
An armed security guard was injured and his firearm taken by the gunmen, who escaped in a stolen taxi.
