PATH awards 17 scholarships

The Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education, PATH this morning awarded 17 scholarships and bursaries to students on PATH that have matriculated to accredited Universities and Teachers’ Colleges.

Over 16 million dollars has been allocated to this initiative with each scholarship valued at a maximum of one million dollars.

These students who are on PATH have attained over 10 passes in CXC and CAPE with distinctions and have been accepted to
 study Law, Medicine, Nursing and other degrees at University of the West Indies, University of Technology, Browns Town Community
 College and Northern Caribbean University.

The students are Lacy Bailey, Ashroan Frazer, Deneikah Jackson, Caliph Cole, Naketa Facey, Kimisha Grant, Krystal Reid, Jamelia Jalaalwalikraam, Navoya McIntosh, Shanice Ebanks, Damion Hunter Sada Hamilton, Sherica Brown, Kemmoy Lattibeaudere, Kayla Campbell, Shellian Yen and Chrisan Blake.
