Patrons locked out of Cool Runnings Water Park

There are reports of problems at the Cool Runnings Water Park in Negril.

Patrons who have been trying to access the park since Friday say they have been refused entry.

Police personnel have been at the Park since Friday.

Firefighters retrieved the body of a missing employee of the Water Park late Saturday afternoon.

Police have identified the body as that of 25-year-old Barrion Arthurs, of Logwood, Hanover.

The Negril police are awaiting the result of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Firefighters found the decomposing body of Mr. Arthurs in a suction hole in a section of the park.

Mr. Arthurs was employed as a lifeguard at the water park in Negril.

The post mortem will be conducted early this week.

Mr. Arthurs was reported missing on Wednesday.

A police source disclosed that a shirt believed to have been worn by Mr. Arthurs before he went missing was discovered on the property.

It is understood that Mr. Arthurs' mother went in search of her son when he did not come home.

When she noticed the employees log book was not signed by her son, she notified the police, who issued a missing persons report.
