The Ministry of Education is set to release the results of the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exam for Grade 6 students today.
Education Minister Fayval Williams is expected to provide an assessment of the performance of thousands of students during a press briefing.
The PEP exam evaluates students' proficiency in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.
It is designed to assess their knowledge, comprehension, and application of these subjects, and evaluate their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The results of the PEP exam will be used by both students and teachers to identify areas that are of concern regarding their performance in different subject areas.
