The Ministry of Education has announced that the results of the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exams will be released in the next two weeks.

Chief Education Officer Dr. Kasan Troupe noted that this year's results are being released later than usual because the exams were pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Troupe urged patience while the ministry completes the evaluation of the tests.

"We will have that information out by the middle of July. I know parents are nervous but hold us to that. Our team, they're working night and day because we understand the anxiety," she asserted.

About 33,000 students sat the PEP Ability Test on May 26.

Students will be placed in high schools using those test scores along with the results of the Grade Four Performance Task in Language Arts and Mathematics that they would have taken in 2019.
