The Tax Administration is appealing to persons who have
not collected their Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) cards to do so soon as
possible.
Additionally, persons who have changed their names, address or other pertinent information are being urged to update their information with the TRN office.
Persons are being encouraged to collect their TRN cards, as increasingly even non government organisations are requesting that persons present the card as part of the requirement to transact business.
The appeal comes as the tax authorities move to improve the services relating to the TRN and to reduce the backlog of uncollected cards.
Individuals are being asked to collect their TRN card at the tax office or at the Taxpayer Registration Card Centre as indicated on their application forms.
