Police continue search for abducted Westmoreland businessman

The Westmoreland police are continuing their search for a motorcar dealer who was abducted by a group of heavily armed men in Darliston on Tuesday morning.

It is reported that about 7 o'clock, Gavin Myers, who operates a car mart in the town centre, was at the establishment when a group of men in a Toyota Mark X motorcar drove into the facility.

They requested to purchase a truck on the car lot.

It is understood that Myers was tending to the men when they pulled M16 rifles before dragging him into the vehicle and speeding off.
