The police say they are utilising all available resources to prevent a reprisal following a double killing in Portmore Villas. St Catherine, last Friday night.
A police source at the St. Catherine South police division told the RJR news centre, that the perpetrators who carried out the deadly attack were recently released from prison after serving time on gun related charges and against this background the area will be closely monitored.
The two men, who were killed on Friday night, have been identified as 25 year old chef Clifton Johnson otherwise called "Stinger" and 21 year old vendor Richard Allen, who is also called "Chase".
Reports are that about 7 o'clock on Friday night the police were alerted to a section of Portmore Villa, when they arrived they saw the men with gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital where both were pronounced dead.
