The Area Four Police have named a man who is wanted in connection with Monday's double murder in Marverly, St. Andrew.
The police say Courtney Ashley, otherwise called 'Blood Stain', 'Alien' and 'Bigs', is the St. Andrew South Police's most wanted criminal.
The police are also seeking a person of interest who goes by the names 'Miller' and 'Max'.
Assistant Commissioner Michael Phipps, head of the Area Four Police, says Ashley is wanted for several murders in the division.
"Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Courtney Ashley, otherwise called 'Blood Stain' is being asked to contact the police Crime Stop at 311, police emergency 911, or the JCF tip line 811, or the nearest police station. In the meantime, Ashley is being asked to turn himself in to the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigations Branch no later than 6 p.m. on the 17th of September 2025," ACP Phipps urged.
Two-year-old Tejuan Jackson and 25-year-old Kimalie Powell, also called 'Beans', a business operator, were killed about 7 p.m. when the occupants of a white Nissan AD Wagon fired on people who were seated on a bench in a lane along Grenmede Road.
Another man was wounded in the attack and is being treated in hospital.
According to the police report, Mr. Powell ran off to escape further injuries, but a man alighted the vehicle and continued firing at him.
Mr. Powell collapsed and the gunman reentered the vehicle which then spread out of the lane.
