Report of air quality tests from Queen's Wharehouse chemical spill sent to Ministry of Health

The results of  air quality tests from the chemical spill at the Queen's Warehouse on Spanish Town Road in Kingston are now with the Ministry of  Health.

Manager of  the Air Quality Management Branch at NEPA, Stephen Panton, says the findings were received last week.

They were sent to the Ministry of  Health's Environmental Health Laboratory for interpretation.

Samples were taken from the warehouse by NEPA and sent overseas for testing.

The incident, which occurred last month, resulted in several workers at the wharehouse falling ill.

The warehouse is used to store unclaimed items and hazardous materials.

It has been closed since the incident.
