Scores of people who turned up at the vaccination site at Mandeville Regional Hospital in Manchester were turned away on Thursday morning.

It's reported that no sanitary conveniences were available at the facility.

One woman said she travelled from Kingston to get vaccinated but was left disappointed.

"When I heard of the incident where they had to throw away so many of (the vaccine), I say, 'Lord, help me that I will not be the one to throw it away' and now I come, I can't get nothing at all. We are trying our best to keep ourself healthy but up the top not doing no proper situation to help the poor people," she lamented.

Radio Jamaica News has since learnt that the vaccination site has been reopened.
