A section of Waltham Park Road has been reduced to single lane for drainage improvement works which started on Tuesday.
The restriction, which will be in place for two weeks, is to facilitate drainage improvement works on the roadway, between Delacree Lane and Howard Avenue.
Communication Manager at the National Works Agency, Stephen Shaw, explained that activities to be undertaken are in relation to the clearing of a blocked culvert.
During the period of closure, people entering Delacree Lane will have to use Howard Avenue.
Motorists heading to Hagley Park Road from Waltham Park Road may turn onto East Road then turn left onto Rainford Road then onto Hagley Park Road.
The NWA is urging all road users to exercise caution when travelling within the construction zone and to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
