PM congratulates new CCJ President, Justice Winston Anderson

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has congratulated Jamaican, Justice Winston Anderson on his swearing-in as the fourth President of the Caribbean Court of Justice - CCJ.
 
The investiture ceremony was held on Sunday at Jewel Grande, Montego Bay and was presided over by Governor-General, Sir Patrick Allen, as part of the 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
 
Prime Minister Holness, delivering remarks at the ceremony,  hailed Justice Anderson's distinguished legal career, describing him as a legal luminary whose scholarship and jurisprudence have strengthened the region's rule of law.
 
Dr. Holness reaffirmed Jamaica's full support for regional legal cooperation and spoke of the importance of the CCJ in advancing access to justice. 
 
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to outgoing CCJ President, Justice Adrian Saunders, for his exceptional leadership and transformative contributions.
