Students, staff locked out of Charlemont High in St. Catherine

Students and staff of Charlemont High school in Linstead, St. Catherine have been locked out of the institution.
 
They arrived on Wednesday morning to find the main gate closed and the padlock changed.
 
Sydney Rose, Councillor for the Treadways Division, said the situation is believed to have stemmed from an ongoing wage dispute involving auxiliary workers and the Ministry of Education.
 
The police and fire brigade have been called to render assistance.
