Tax Administration Jamaica, (TAJ), will be setting-up four outstations across the island on Saturday an attempt to collect outstanding property taxes between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The operation is to provide a convenient option for persons to pay property taxes, without having to visit a tax office or pay online.
The venues for the four outstations are: Longville Park Plaza in Clarendon, Alligator Pond Infant & Primary School in Manchester, Runaway Bay Post Office in St. Ann, and the Harbour View Police Station in St Andrew.
Property Owners in the neighbouring communities are encouraged to visit these outstations to make payments, as well as to get updated information on their accounts.
Outstations for collecting outstanding property taxes will be concentrated in other parishes in coming months.
Property Owners are reminded that property tax payments can be made in quarterly installments. The third quarterly installment becomes due on October 1, 2013.
