Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is to relocate the Stamp Office from Harbour Street in downtown Kingston.
Meris Haughton, Chief Corporate Communications Officer at TAJ, says the volume of business has now outgrown the current space.
The disclosure on Thursday came in the midst of the closure of the Harbour Street office due to irritating fumes resulting from a flooding.
While Miss Haughton was guarded about the relocation plans, she said that there are currently two locations that the entity is pursuing.
