A 19-year-old youth was stabbed to death and his sister
injured during a robbery at their home at Congo
Town, Wakefield, Trelawny Monday.
Dead is Michael Simpson, while injured is his 21-year-old sister.
Reports from the CCN are that about 2:15 in the morning three men; two armed with guns, the other with a knife entered their house and demanded money.
The men were given $4,000, however before leaving the premises they stabbed Mr. Simpson and his sister several times.
The police were alerted and the injured siblings were taken to the Falmouth Hospital where Mr. Simpson was pronounced dead and his sister treated and released.
The Wakefield Police who are investigating have held three suspects in connection with the murder.
Their names are being withheld pending an identification parade.
