The 17-year-old youth, who was arrested in connection with last month's fatal stabbing of one of his school mates at Cross Keys High in Manchester, will have to spend another two weeks behind bars.
He was denied bail when he appeared before the Mandeville Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday [June 8].
The teenager is due back in court on June 22.
He was taken into custody after fourth form student, 16-year-old Haig Williams, was stabbed to death during a fight on May 17.
Three teenage boys, including two brothers, were initially taken into custody.
However, one of them subsequently confessed to the stabbing.
