Tension between the police and residents in Tawes Pen, Spanish Town, St. Catherine remains inflamed following an operation in the community on Wednesday morning.
A resident who spoke with Radio Jamaica News said she was physically assaulted and the occupants of her house pepper sprayed.
The tyres on at least three marked police vehicles were slashed during the disturbance.
