Three men were convicted on drug-related charges after they pleaded guilty in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court to charges related to cocaine trafficking.
Convicted are Delroy Bremmer, Omar Nugent, and Jamie White.
They were sentenced to six months in prison or $1.5 million for cocaine possession, 6 months or $2 million for trafficking in cocaine and 6 months or $2 million for importing cocaine.
The sentences will run concurrently if the fines are not paid.
The men were arrested on December 26, 2022, after the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard intercepted a vessel carrying 463 kilogrammes of cocaine off Morant Point, St. Thomas with the three men aboard.
The vessel was forfeited to the crown.

"This conviction demonstrates the value of collaboration in the fight against criminal networks. FNID will continue to be aggressive in employing modern investigative tools and techniques to all matters being investigated," he vowed.
