Three persons were shot by a gunman at Worchester Road in Sydenham, St. Catherine on Friday night.
One of the three persons died shortly after he was shot.
He has been identified as William Scully otherwise called "Tapa" of Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
The other two persons who were injured are a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman from Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
The police say that about 10:30 Friday night the three people were standing at a bar when a Honda motor car drove up.
A man armed with a gun reportedly got out of the car and opened fire hitting them.
They were taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where Scully was pronounced dead and the others treated and released.
