The trial of the men accused of killing two Missionaries in St. Mary in 2016, has been adjourned until 2 o'clock today.
When the matter was called up in the Home Circuit Court this morning, Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn told the court that she had a discussion with attorney Dian Jobson who is representing Dwight Henry, one of the two accused.
Ms Llewellyn said based on the discussion, it would be beneficial for the matter to be heard this afternoon.
Ms Jobson indicated Monday that her client was interested in pleading guilty.
The DPP also indicated that the indictment on which Henry and his co-accused, Andre Thomas, are jointly charged with two counts each of murder, has been severed.
Attorney-at-law Althea Freeman and Leroy Equiano are representing Thomas, while Kerry-Ann Duhaney also appeared for Henry.
Meanwhile, Thomas's case was set for Thursday.
He was subsequently remanded.
The men are jointly charged with the murder of Randy Hentzel, 48, and 53-year-old Harold Nichols.
Mr. Hentzel was found dead in Wentworth district, St. Mary on April 30, while Mr. Nochols' body was found on May 1, 2016.
The two were reportedly last seen alive when they left Tower Isle, St. Mary, on motorcycles at about 8:00 a.m.
